Summary:

The bespoke two-shell Orange GRP Cabinet contains the QUIKSLING MK2 tension-activated recovery system. The removable front shell is clamped against rubber seals by four stainless steel catches. Inside,  all components are detachably mounted for immediate, emergency use.

QUIKSLING MK2 is the castable 'lifering' that snaps a chest sling under the armpits before being swept under into a double sling with a mesh body support cradle. This supports the casualty at two separate points and they emerge from the water in a low deckchair posture to 'walk aboard' up the side of the vessel.

Helicopter grade recovery line is 12mm in diameter and floats. Shiny reflective marker tape is woven into the braid for easier detection of the line by a person who is overboard in dark seas at night.
